Christians & War

The Christian Church should not be concerned with Islam, it must be concerned with spreading the word of our Church. This was the calling left to the disciples. Jesus did not teach to promote Christian values through Wars of bombs but a spiritual warfare of faith.

What a world this would be if Christians alone strayed from Jesus’ example of Peace and embraced Lucifer’s tools of War. The Bible in Luke 2:14 says “Glory to God in the highest and peace on earth, good will towards men.”

Those claiming to be Christians within the United States are today becoming agitated by certain Muslim beliefs. Such beliefs as those that call for the killing of ‘infidels’.

The answer to such beliefs is certainly not continued War.

Christians are not alone; there are various faiths, and non believers whose values have no moral foundation. So I ask if the Christians will not be advocates of Peace within the World, then who shall be?

well, lots to say.

Firstly, it is not a muslim belief to "kill the infidels". This vocabulary, I shall remind you, was employed throughout the centuries by the pope himself with the arabs and muslims in mind.
Secondly, the christians in the USA employing this vocabulary are simply beginning to think in a similar way as the islamic fundamentalists -which are to be distinguished from "muslims" just like born-agains from christians.
But thinking in the a similar way does not imply picking up beliefs from another religion. For the fundamentlists are thinking the 21st century in 12th century terms, meaning that their way of thinking is thrown back 9 centuries (!). The massive majority does not comprehend the world that way. This also means that the muslim fundamentalists would be determining the way of thinking of their extremists collegues, short-termed memoried as they are and uneducated, in the christian world...
And christianism is far from peaceful (there were more wars between christian nations than between muslim ones), is far from tolerant (has a habit of trying to destroy the beliefs and cultures of other peoples they term "primitive").
Here is an example of a first step to this: "Christians are not alone; there are various faiths, and non believers whose values have no moral foundation." Well, let them be. We do not need the bible to have moral foundations (which you do not define, by the way).
It is no less a warrior religion then Islam.
And anyways, the main problems in this conflict are only partially religious: it's about geostrategy and power-zones. To make it religious would be a defeat for human intelligence.

PS: i'm a pagan lol

Who in Power will not only speak Truth but represent it?

The Bible says that Jesus Christ is the "truth". However his followers, the Christians ignore his example.

In the United States at least it seems we live in a world of falsehoods.
