The Progress of the Space Program is disappointing.
Why can't the U.S. build 2 New shuttles ready to fly within a few years?
The current shuttles are decades old, and they do not seem to be reliable? Is just like driving a 30 year old car for your daily activities. You don't see many people doing this. The current shuttles are antiques where their greatest value is in a museum. How can we go to Mars as President Bush said we would if we can’t manage one launch because of a sensor error?
And why are the costs of operating the space program so high? Are these cost artificial or actual? You know America has a lot of artificially inflated cost. The Space Program is one Prime example. This is one example of why our economy needs to and is starting to readjust (but that’s another debate).
Also, I hate to say it but we need to give the private sector the lead in Space Exploration?

A Matter of Principle: WE Must Impeach President Bush
If Republicans continue to support unethical policies of President Bush like using the White House to leak the name of a CIA agent, jeopardizing our National Security, in retaliation towards a civil servant (Ambassador Joe Wilson and his wife) because he disagreed with them, I will be on firm ground to call them ALL traitors. President Thomas Jefferson would agree.
Yes, I agree but this call for Impeachment is on principle. Realistically, it is a long shot for the Democrats to retake the House of Representatives. But how can any of you simply sit back and allow for these unethical practices to occur in the White House without demanding accountability? If there is no accountability within the White House then there will be none in your state, on your job, in your neighborhood, in your home, and in your family.
The White House, (and now I speak collectively from the White House janitor to the President) have lied to and knowingly mislead the American people. Bush is not longer our President. This was his decision and many of us who truly believe in America and what we represent will push for his removal. Just today July 28, 2005 Bush changed his WORD on what he said he’d do in regards to those that leaked the name of a CIA agent. This is the President that claimed to restore integrity into the White House, and he also claims to be a Christian. This is not an isolated incident but a pattern that continues to worsen. This is not a question of Democrat or Republican but of Democracy.
If WE, the American People do not draw the line in the White House, with the President then what are saying? We are saying we truly do not believe in the values we expose, and even our families even our children do not adhere to any standard of ethics or values.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- Sen. Hillary Clinton pressed Thursday for a government investigation into how simulated sex cropped up in a modified version of the blockbuster criminal adventure video game "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas."
“Clinton asked the Federal Trade Commission to investigate the origins of a downloadable modification that allows simulated sex in the personal computer version of one of the most popular and controversial video games in history.
"We should all be deeply disturbed that a game which now permits the simulation of lewd sexual acts in an interactive format with highly realistic graphics has fallen into the hands of young people across the country," Clinton wrote in a letter to the head of the Federal Trade Commission.
Saying the problem of explicit video games was "spiraling out of control," Clinton also said she was introducing legislation that would crack down on the sale of violent and sex-laden games to minors.
The legislation would impose a $5,000 penalty on retailers who sell adult-rated video games to underage children.
Clinton asked the FTC to look into whether Grand Theft Auto's rating of "M" (Mature 17+) should be changed to the rare "AO" (Adult Only), which would threaten to crimp sales at large retail outlets.
The PlayStation2 version of "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" was the No. 1 game of 2004, selling just over 5 million copies, according to industry researcher NPD Funworld.
She requested the agency to study whether retailers' enforcement policies were adequate to keep adult-rated video games out of the hands of minors.
An FTC spokeswoman said the agency had received Clinton's letter and was reviewing it.
Clinton's comments were the latest in a chorus of criticism that has intensified since the revelation about sex scenes in the modified Grand Theft Auto. The game series has drawn numerous detractors because of its sexual and violent content.
Players who download a modification, known as "hot coffee," from the Internet can make a male character engage in various sex acts with a virtual "girlfriend." Sex is suggested in the official version of the game, but does not happen on screen.
The game's manufacturer, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. called Rockstar Games, has said hackers are responsible for the modification.
In a statement released Thursday, Rockstar said it supported the video game rating system and efforts to keep adult-rated games away from children.
But without referring to Clinton, the company said it was "disappointed by comments that misrepresent Grand Theft Auto, detracting from the innovative and artistic merits of the game."
"Unfortunately, the recent confusion only serves to suggest that games do not deserve the same treatment as other forms of creative expression," Rockstar said in its statement.
The Entertainment Software Rating Board last week launched a probe into whether the sexual minigame content was deliberately hidden in the game code and unlocked by the "hot coffee" modification, or if it was solely the result of the modification.
The "hot coffee" modification, which violates the game's software user agreement, is the result of hackers –disassembling and then combining, recompiling and altering the game's source code, Rockstar said.”

President Bush Must Resign or Be Impeached.
There is a growing movement in the United States to Impeach both President Bush and Dick Cheney simultaneously, and have House Speaker Dennis Hastert (R) to serve out the remaining term.
Unfortunately it is near impossible to remove a President from office in the United States. For this to occur Democrats must retake Congress and then bring forth substantiated charges of "High Crimes & Misdemeanors"
I do believe many such charges can be found in:
*Matters of the War on Terror & Iraq: the usage of funds, humanitarian violations, misinformation to the public, disregard for international standards like the Geneva Convention, revelations found in the Downing Street Memo.
*The CIA LEAK with Karl Rove: which shows the White House authorizes and has a pattern of using government resources for unethical, and as it seems Republican Party activities.
*Misinformation to the American People: citizens have the right to oversight therefore we must be given correct information. Government officials do not have the option to lie, disinform, nor misinform. Just One Example: the White House brought a fake news reporter onto the White Press Core; he used a fake name and asked questions directly to the President. His name is James Dale Guckert.
* Provisions of the Patriot Act: provisions of the patriot act impede on matters of Due Process like protections against unlawful search and seizures.
All of you Republicans that call yourselves “Conservative” whom support these polices have misplaced your vote and your money (taxes) and I’d urge you to get on your knees and pray for some guidance.

TERRORIST ATTACK in LONDON
The closet ally of the United States, the United Kingdom has been attacked in their capital of London.
The UK is respected international as the second most world super power to the U.S. Just yesterday it was announced that London would host the 2012 Olympics. They won this honor over cities like Paris and New York.
The attack consisted of a series of explosions in the London transit system. There have been varied reports of fatalities and injuries. Al-Qaeda, the same terrorist group that toppled the World Trade Towers in NY have said they were responsible for this attack.
This marks 4 great world cities that have been attacked beginning on 9/11: New York, Washington D.C./ USA, Madrid/Spain, and London/England.
Opinion: America must support the British as they deal with this Terrorist Attack just as British Prime Minister Tony Blair put his career on the line to support President Bush’s War on Terror. Not to politicize this situation I pose the question of is the United States and World actually safer because of the way we approached the War on Terror and also how the U.S. and Great Britain have diverted resources away from the security of our countries towards the War in Iraq?

Discussion of Impeachment
Complaints or Crimes?
Many have called my calling for the Resignation or Impeachment of President Bush & Dick Cheney as a list of complaints where only a couple charges could be tantamount to “High Crimes or Misdemeanors” as required by Law to remove the President from Office.
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors. - - ARTICLE II, SECTION 4 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
I will accept this criticism and continue to refine my message to fit within the parameters of our current Laws. However I’ll ask you to entertain the following:
1) The premise that WE the People through Congress possess the power to change this law dictating the terms required to Impeach a President. I would like to broaden these requirements to include such terms as incompetents, perjury, and misinformation. I would like to add a provision for direct participation from citizens through a referendum or recall process. You might ask why? In my opinion the problem with America today is its political parties. The founders of our country would have no respect for the Republican & Democratic Parties neither does our Constitution recognize them. Despite this currently WE, the People have no power in Congress and the White House except through one of these political parties.
2) What specifically defines high crime and misdemeanors? Stealing a candy bar is a misdemeanor. You tell me that Lying to the American people does not fit into these current terms of impeachment, especially for this specific situation of “War”, which has lead to the death of American soldiers and innocent civilians throughout the world. Am I wrong to believe that if the reasons for beginning this war as presented to the American people by the Bush Administration were distortions and fabrications that these lives are being lost in vain, and our troops are being used for the financial gain of a wealthy segment of our citizenry led by our elected President George W. Bush? Is this not a crime?
3) The President cannot simply declare War without Congress’s approval, so therefore there must be requirements for a country declaring War; I however do not know the legalities of this. If the President withheld, changed, “fitted”, or fabricated information wouldn’t this be breaking the law, equating to at least a misdemeanor? Where does the Downing Street Memo fit in? In addition to blatant manipulation of how the public exercises its right to oversight of the government through receiving information via Media: the fake reporter Jeff Gannon placed in the White House press core, paying government agencies to promote partisan agenda items, PBS? Perjury is a crime, wouldn’t these actions by Bush at least equate to perjury? President Bush did take an oath of Office, is this Oath simply ceremonial? Do the WE the People have no recourse in these matters? Recourse greater than simply waiting for the next election?
I make these comments to seek clarification on the Law on Impeachment of a President for in my eyes President Bush is no longer fit to serve the people of the United States of America.

The founders of our country would have no respect for the Republican & Democratic Parties neither does our Constitution recognize them. Despite this currently WE, the People have no power in Congress and the White House except through one of these political parties.
2) What specifically defines high crime and misdemeanors? Stealing a candy bar is a misdemeanor. You tell me that Lying to the American people does not fit into these current terms of impeachment, especially for this specific situation of “War”, which has lead to the death of American soldiers and innocent civilians throughout the world. Am I wrong to believe that if the reasons for beginning this war as presented to the American people by the Bush Administration were distortions and fabrications that these lives are being lost in vain, and our troops are being used for the financial gain of a wealthy segment of our citizenry led by our elected President George W. Bush? Is this not a crime?
3) The President cannot simply declare War without Congress’s approval, so therefore there must be requirements for a country declaring War; I however do not know the legalities of this. If the President withheld, changed, “fitted”, or fabricated information wouldn’t this be breaking the law, equating to at least a misdemeanor? Where does the Downing Street Memo fit in? In addition to blatant manipulation of how the public exercises its right to oversight of the government through receiving information via Media: the fake reporter Jeff Gannon placed in the White House press core, paying government agencies to promote partisan agenda items, PBS? Perjury is a crime, wouldn’t these actions by Bush at least equate to perjury? President Bush did take an oath of Office, is this Oath simply ceremonial? Do the WE the People have no recourse in these matters? Recourse greater than simply waiting for the next election?
I make these comments to seek clarification on the Law on Impeachment of a President for in my eyes President Bush is no longer fit to serve the people of the United States of America.
