Even though after so many natural disasters in the United States this year, or need are great let’s continue to direct the power of prayer to comfort & protect aide our 'extended world' family for we all are connected. Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy. 

Where there is pain, healing.

I humbly pray in the name of Jesus
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled,

For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,

Peace & Calm after America's Election 2024

Still feeling drawn to the St. Francis Prayer of Peace. Yesterday I helped up set up for a young ladies sweet 16 event in small town in Florida. At the end of preparations I noticed a young lady make the sign of the cross. That told me I was in the right place at the right time. Not to get all into region; I am not Catholic but may be found respecting or admiring traditions I have observed. I like the below image as the Bible says the heavenly Bureaucracy can be described as a wheel within a wheel. How can one depict such an organization?

Volunteerism and the elections

 Working election polls in a different precinct than my own. Am honored to carry out this duty. I'm saying this while working my "own" challenges however brief of avoiding people all together. I might change this thought . Grateful to be out hear doing this!

Learning Spanish; but not there yet

 While walking my lovely dogs yesterday near a local beach, Gandy to be precise, I cam cross a small women's tot bag which I cleaned up and plan to give for donation. Guess what i found inside? Two prayer cards; with religions pictures on 1 side then prayers in Spanish on the other. I have studied in the past French briefly, American Sign Language and taken 1 Spanish course. Neither of them can I speak nor understand after not practicing for years. Below is both versions of the prayer. Stay blessed y'all!

Of course I must mentioned the Salvation Army's Disaster response teams if you see them out in your community they are always there to provide support.On occasion I give them volunteer time!

Gratefullness as Fall Begins!

 

I have read articles that during this brief election season political rhetoric is leading to more than constructive debate. I don’t believe in that. Cooperation, collaboration and compromise is the political way.
