Christmas Performance Update.

Risking sounding ‘fufu’ the Sunday before Christmas I had the upmost pleasure of being invited to perform musically behind the pulpit at North Bay Community Church- Clearwater,FL. The Orchestra and Old school choir in addition to its two Directors and 2 moderators pulled it off with only 1 rehersal. What helped me stay within the service mindfully and performance was 3 points (a pyramid if you will) the young cellist who stepped up to join us while being a Freshman in H.S. , the piano player and the vibrations emitting from my personal string bass. Matter of fact having no embarrassment my hands were not shaking but allowing those tones to vertebrate naturally. Will add a caption later. Blessings this holiday season !!

Support Angel Tree Minitries - the church or organization does not matter

Many youth are in need of support especially in foster and adoption programs. My experience in becoming active again with the church is that allot folks of faith or not just need to know where to help or contribute. Google Angel Tree donations for your local. Peace everyone 🙏🏽

7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

The Prayer of the Woods (Oración del Bosque)

The Prayer of the Woods (Oración del Bosque) 🌳

The poem is often found on signs in forest trails and is attributed to an old Portuguese folk tradition, with a well-known version written by Alberto de Veiga Simões in 1914.

In English

I am the heat of your hearth on the cold winter nights,123

The friendly shade screening you from the summer sun,456

And my fruits are refreshing draughts quenching your thirst as you journey on.789

I am the beam that holds your house,101112

The board of your table, the bed on which you13 lie,1415

And the timber that builds your boat.1617

I am the handle of your hoe,1819

The door of your homestead,2021

The22 wood of your cradle, and the shell of your coffin.23

I am the bread of kindness and the flower of beau24ty.

Ye who pass by, listen to my prayer:

Harm me not.

En Español (In Spanish)

Yo soy el calor de vuestro hogar en las frías noches de invierno;

la sombra amiga que os protege contra el sol del estío;

No me causes daño.

Matthew 19:6 and Mark 10:9

                                  "What God brought together let no one tear asunder"

                         Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.

                                                           Mark 10:9

A tradition verse in relation to marriage; but this is the question? Does is also apply to friendship, partnership, business, GLBTQIA Plus marriages, and community coalitions?
